Five for Friday {March 28}

Happy Friday!  It's been a while since I've linked up with Doodle Bugs Teaching to share my 5 random pictures from the week.

1.  Last weekend, it was finally nice out!  By nice, I mean 45 degrees.  After the winter we've had, it felt great!  My husband and I went on an all day date.  We started with a walk on the beach, then a stop at our favorite pizza place and finished it off with ice cream cones.  I'm milking the end of this pregnancy for all that it's worth!  It may also be our last real date as a family of 2.  Baby Girl should be here any day!

2. Yikes!  I was going through my store the other day and was appalled to realize that the first product I uploaded did not follow clipart rules.  Oh my!  I worked hard to update my Reading Area Chart this week.  You can learn more about it here or pick it up for free in my store here!

 3. I was using my laptop on the couch the other night and someone decided to be a helper.  He was sleeping and taking up more room on the couch than I was - yes, all 10 lbs of him.

4. I read Notebook Know-How by Aimee Buckner this week and am planning on using some of her tips in my classroom next year.  I decided to create my own notebook in preparation for teaching with it next year.  To learn more about my thoughts on the book, check out this post.  I highly recommend it!

5.  I created a to-do list for myself this week because I realized that I'm slipping in the blogging/TpT world.  Time to get back to work!  So far, it's working - I've blogged three times this week!

In other news, there's a huge Spring Cleaning Sale going on!!  My store is 15% off this weekend (no coupon code needed!)

Check out all these other stores that are participating in the sale:

  1. Sara,

    Stopping by from Five for Friday! I've got a 75 lb dog that will come lay her head on my laptop keyboard while I'm working to let me know it's time for a break! Can't resist her face! Not too long ago I realized I needed to do some work to get my first TPT products "up to code". DONE! I'm off to read your post about Notebook Know How...I read the book about 5 years ago and took some good ideas from it. I'm anxious to find new inspiration in your post!

  4. Three times in a week! I can't remember the last time I did that! I've heard that, in New England these days, 50 is the new 80. I'd still rather have 80 degrees. Good luck with your little one real soon! :)
