Currently {September}

Happy September!  It's been a super busy week, since I started school on Wednesday.  I hope to share photos of my classroom and our first week activities very soon!  In the meantime, I'm adding my Currently to Farley's linky.

Listening...
I'm pretty sure that this first week back at school has been the warmest we've had all summer.  The AC at home is cranking, but I only have fans at school.  It gets a lil toasty on the third floor!

Loving...
Despite the warm weather, I am absolutely loving being back at school!  I haven't been since February and it's good to be back!  My class is awesome and I'm looking forward to a great year with them.  {I do miss Baby Girl quite a bit while I am gone though}

Thinking...
I can't believe it's September already!  That is all.

Wanting...
The weather to cool down a little bit.  Just a little, though.  I'm not ready for a frost anytime soon.

Needing...
Baby Girl decided that Back to School week was a good time to stop sleeping through the night.  Remind me to thank her when she's 18.

3 Trips...
I've been pretty lucky in that I've traveled quite a bit so far in my life.  I've already checked Hawaii, Bahamas and San Francisco, to name a few, off of my traveling list.  Here are a few places that I would still like to visit:

1. Australia - I've never had a lot of desire to go to another country {mainly because I'm a picky eater and am nervous about eating foreign food} but Australia has always been a country that I've wanted to visit.
2. San Diego - my husband travels here for work and keeps telling me how much I would love this city, so it's on my to-do list.
3. The 50 States - when I retire, I want to travel in a camper to each of the 50 states.  How cool would that be??

  1. Ooo! A camper in the 50 states. That is a dream of mine too! Looking for a vintage Airstream to do the very same thing with my husband!

  2. I'm glad to see someone else with Australia on their travel list. It's been a dream of mine for years. Sorry to hear your baby girl stopped sleeping through the night. I am NOT looking forward to sleep regressions.

  4. I'm lucky enough to have an AC unit in my room. Unlucky enough to have it blowing directly on me and I'm always cold! I have a fleece in the room that I put on when I walk in, and take off when I walk out. I'll be super excited though in the winter when it's a heater!
    Thanks for sharing - good luck with back to school!

  6. You have to come to San Diego! It is heaven on earth! I am biased, as I am lucky enough to call San Diego my home, but I can guarantee you will love this city when you come visit!
