Currently {almost} 2015!

Happy {almost} New Year!  To celebrate, I'm linking up with Farley from Oh Boy Fourth Grade for her 2015 Currently. husband is a {loud} Bruins fan so we are watching the game right now.  If he wakes the baby, he's in charge of putting her back to sleep!  Actually, she's used to her daddy being loud and sleeps through almost anything.

Loving...that I am on vacation and actually have time to do things!  Catch up on blog reading and writing, for example.

Thinking...that a baby is a good excuse to get out of New Year's Eve celebrations!  I am not a fan of this holiday, mainly because I really enjoy sleep.  I am one unhappy camper if you make me stay awake until midnight.  It's almost 10 now and that's pretty late for me.

Wanting...a place to put all of Baby Girl's new toys!  She is one loved little girl and received a lot of gifts for Christmas {we only got her one gift - ha!}.  However, now our living room walls seem to be closing in on us. know your favorite books!  Since I have a little time, I want to catch up on my reading.  What is the best book you've read lately?

Yes...I started consulting for Jamberry and even though it is way out of my comfort zone, I am determined to be successful with it!

Maybe...we will buy a new house.  A baby takes up more space than we realized!

I Wish...that becoming a Stay at Home Mom was possible.  Unfortunately it is not for me right now, but maybe sometime in the future I'll be able to spend all day with my baby girl!  For now, I'll settle with having a job that I love - teaching!

Here's to a 2015 that was as awesome as 2014 was!  Happy New Year!

  1. Love Jamberry! Good luck. Yes, kids take up a lot of space in the house and car. I hear you on the SAHM wish. I was able to do that for a bit, but would love to do it again and I have older kids now (2nd and 5th grade). It would be nice to volunteer in their room, go on field trips, go to their parties, etc. Sigh.

  2. Re: book recommendations....
Have you read Wild by Cheryl Strayed (it just came out as a movie?) I loved it--probably my favorite read of 2014.
Have you read Gone Girl yet? I think I read it in 2013, but the film came out this year.

  3. how exciting a new baby!!! yay!!!
they do take up TONS of space… that is why we are looking for a new place and Bub is 6.
thanks so much for linking up
hope you have a healthy, happy, and blessed 2015

  4. Yes! babies [and kids] take up a LOT of space and they make a big mess! We just bought a bigger house and that means bigger messes!!! Just remember though, the toy filled living room will be a thing of the past all too quickly so try not to let it bother you too much now!
As far as books, I loved Gone Girl and of course all the Hunger Games and Divergent books. I also loved Bared to you series if you are into that 50 Shades of Grey type of thing. Enjoy your time....
